On Friday the 19th of April, our Student Council ran a Colour Day to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society. The Student Council picked a tree and decorated it with ribbons representing all the colours of different cancers supported by the Irish Cancer Society. This tree is on display in the foyer. On Friday then, our students were asked to wear a coloured jumper or t-shirt with their school uniform to represent the different colours on our tree and donate €2 during registration time.
A total of €1020 was raised by our very generous students, staff and teachers. The Student Council would like to thank everyone who wore their colours and donated to this very worthy cause.
