Kickboxing
Alan Ellis, a local self-defence expert, has commenced his lessons in kickboxing with a group of Transition Year students. The lessons take place once a week in the school gym and provide great entertainment and knowledge of self-defence to these students. The students who are not participating in these lessons will be given an opportunity to do so next term.
Mini Company Talk
One class of Transition Year students, who are taking a class on Enterprise this term, were given a talk on setting up a company by Jackie from Wicklow Enterprise Board. All Transition Year students will be given the opportunity to set up their own mini company later on this year.
