Basketball News
Avondale C.C First Year boys are in the 1st Round of the Wicklow League. Our new recruits will meet Arklow C.B.S. in their first match.
While the seasoned U16/U19 basketball team will play Rockwell College in the 1st Round of the South East League in the All Ireland B Championship. Best of luck to both teams in their initial outing of the year.

Careers Evening
A Careers Evening will be held on Thursday 18th October from 7 p.m. to 9.45 p.m. in Avondale Community College. This is aimed at our students from 3rd through to 6th Year and their parents. It will consist of a series of talks by professionals, as well as a college exhibition area. This is set to be a worthwhile and informative evening, so watch out for details coming over the next few weeks.

Well Done
Well done to Sarah Miley, who played an important role on the Wicklow Ladies’ Team in Croke Park on Sunday. Unfortunately their efforts were matched by New York and a replay is fixed for Sunday October 9th. Best of luck to Sarah and all the team!
